LLMs Courses: full text courses about every LLM family

Understanding a language model does not require anything beyond reading and writing, so each LLM family on this site gets a full-fledged text course: a course landing page plus 12 lessons in order, taught entirely in text, with diagrams described in words and examples shown as text. Popular families and small, less popular families each get their own course.

Small and less popular LLM family courses are free and complete. Big and popular LLM family courses have free text lessons now, with a paid tier planned for later that is not available now. The paid tier, when it comes, would add slides, presentations, and a structured, guided learning path on top of the free text lessons. Nothing on this site asks you to pay, log in, or enrol today.

Text courses

How to use this site

Pick a course, start at Lesson 1, and follow the lesson sequence in order. Each lesson answers one question directly, explains the idea in plain language, gives a worked text example, asks questions to answer in writing, and ends with a short practice checklist. Courses do not present an invented catalogue of courses and do not rank specific courses as verified recommendations, because course content, availability, and requirements change. Model details are given only as general descriptions with a dated snapshot note: check current official documentation before relying on a version, feature, price, or limit.
